It Felt Love

How

Did the rose

Ever open its heart

And give to this world

All its

Beauty?

It felt the encouragement of light

Against its

Being,

Otherwise,

We all remain

Too

Frightened.

  2. So beautiful. We need more light in our lives. I always wonder about people who were deprived of love in their infancy/childhood, if they can ever recover from that darkness or if their experience of the world is forever altered.

    • Thanks Gabriela, and I agree the world could use more light. Children are pretty resilient but you’re right, love is so important during the formative years. Thereafter as well.
