I can’t put my finger on it but there is something about the second photo that really holds my eye.

For me it’s the gap between flowers.

I guess for me it’s what immediately surrounds the gap that keeps my eye circling around from ferns to the flowers on the left to the green leaves below to the small flower bunch on the right back up to the ferns. Too much analyzing, I’m just going to enjoy the photo.

It always amazes me how a photograph taken at a slightly different angle reveals a different light. This is very easy to see in digital photographs. And even more amazing is how different photographers can capture the same scene and create strikingly different images. Life is so dynamic.
