The Kansas City Municipal Auditorium facade is decorated with three bas relief carved medallions depicting classic themes. The medallions were created by Albert Stewart in 1934 as part of the PWA construction project. When the building opened in 1935, it was called by the Architectural Record “one of the 10 best buildings of the world that year.” In 2000, the Princeton Architectural Press called it one of the 500 most important architectural works in the United States. Not the best photo but when I think of adventure I remember the time when I had cows that Ralph showed up one evening with a rubber bucket stuck on his head. He had managed to get part of it off but while laughing I had to take a few jogs around the pasture to catch him and pull the rest off. Ralph and I were both very relieved and happy after our unexpected adventure.
