Black Cat before the attack, c.1930.
Martin Munkácsi
Hungarian
Gelatin silver print
“A product of the early modernist intellectual currents of early 1900s Hungary, Martin Munkácsi worked in a bold, spontaneous manner. He achieved international renown for his photojournalism and fashion work of the 1920s and 1930s, when he was living in Berlin. Munkácsi had a major impact in both these fields. In fashion, for example, his lively images, often made outdoors, stood in marked contrast to the more typical work of the period, made in the controlled space of the commercial studio.”
Absolutely love this – wonderful! A 🙂

That’s the look my one cat has when she’s about to pounce her brother lol. And that cat actually looks a lot like the cat I had when I was a teen.

Wow, that is a good picture. I like some photographers from that time period but hadn’t heard of Martin Munkácsi. Thank you.

Be like the cat, so alive after the mouse, never wondering or questioning why, when there is really only God, only God…touching our paws.
