“All the sculptures of today, like those of the past, will end one day in pieces... So it is important to fashion ones work carefully in its smallest recess and charge every particle of matter with life.”

Great piece of sculpture. I love the juxtaposition of the large circular wheels and slender elongated body. Nice capture and crop. I think showing the stands helps elongate the body. I wish I could think of something else to say that would let me use my new favorite word(s): elongate and elongated.

Thanks David, I believe a lot of Giacometti’s sculptures are elongated pieces. 🙂
