Oh yeah I can relate, I’m a bit of both too!

What if we could have both and hippos could soar like eagles. That would be a quite a sight, maybe as good as them dancing like ballerinas in Fantasia.

I could see where that might be problematic if someone had just washed their car. 🙂

Oh yeah, hadn’t that about that. Hippos need to stay in the water or on terra firma.

Not really related to the quote, but I was just reading this weekend about a plan to introduce hippos to America as a food source back in the early 1900s.

I could see this during that time. Shipping wouldn’t be easy and I can’t imagine a hippo drive to market. Interesting idea.

Eagles fly alone; crows fly in groups.

That’s true, crows are more groupies. I did see a raven chase an eagle once.

We all need a little of both. That last photo looks like a singing hippo.

A good balance for sure. The hippo does look like he’s singing, had just spit out his float toy. 🙂

Why is it tagged with Syd Barrett? (I don’t get your tags a lot of times, but this time I know who it is)

It links to the song – Syd Barrett – Effervescing Elephant –
“And the message was spread
To zebra, mongoose, and the dirty hippopotamus
Who wallowed in the mud and chewed
His spicy hippo plankton food”
