How should Spring bring forth a garden on hard stone?
Become earth, that you may grow flowers of many colors.
For you have been heart-breaking rock.
Once, for the sake of experiment, be earth!

This has helped me this morning as I work on forgiving myself for a long ago sin of omission, Softening the hard stone in my heart, being earth, growing flowers in the place of that hard spot.
