Fall, leaves, fall

Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day.

This is a great shot ~ and wow, what a poem. I do not know much about poetry or poets, but very impressed by this one and makes me want to read more of Emily Brontë. The second shot is a perfect feel for her words.

Thanks Randall. Her sisters Ann and Charlotte wrote poetry as well. They collaborated using the male pseudonyms: Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell on a couple of poetry books.

I LOVE this – the lines and those utterly gorgeous photographs are perfect together. There is also the fact I love Fall, or Autumn depending on what you want to call the season 🙂
