Hahaaa, I love the lightheartedness of this post!
I also love chooks (chickens) and have some very cute memories of them in the backyard when I was little and growing up…
I’ll remember that saying and endeavour to fall ‘fabulously’… if ever I do! 🙂

Thanks Carolyn. I hadn’t heard the term “chooks” before. They are characters.. 🙂

It’s an Aussie term. I heard the word ‘chook’ before I knew them as chickens. Yes, they are characters. I can remember being chased by one of the roosters, and the hens were just as peaceful to watch as a tank of beautiful fish! 😉

Chook’s a good term. I once had chickens and had a gay rooster. He’d pretend to be a hen and sit quietly with the other hens and not cock-a-doodle-doo so that he wouldn’t be eaten. 🙂

Beautiful photos, love the humor in the first one. 🙂 The chickens look so comfortable, cute! The first quote almost has a Dorothy Parker feel to it. Classic song! Hope you’re enjoying your Sunday.

Thanks, I liked the sign’s stick figure drawing. Yeah, the chickens looked at me like I was the strange one. 🙂 Dorothy Parker sounds about right. I was thinking Coco Chanel. We’re in the 90’s forever it seems so you’d like it here. 🙂 Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday and thanks again Mia. xo

You’re welcome. Ha-ha the stick figure made me laugh, it looks like it’s running in the opposite direction. 🙂 The sun did not come out until 1 p.m. to day. Do you have dry or humid heat? Thank you, Sunday has been good so far, I hope you’ve been enjoying your day. Please have a wonderful evening and a good Monday! 🙂 *Hugs* ❤ xo

Very humid here, your sweat shirt would stick to you. 🙂 Usually July and August are the hot months but there’s no usual anymore. My usual Sunday… laundry. 🙂 I’m happy to hear that your Sunday was good and hope that your Monday is too mi dear. 🙂 Have a wonderfully pleasantly peaceful evening Mia. *Hugs* ❤ xo
