May
Sara Teasdale
The wind is tossing the lilacs,
The new leaves laugh in the sun,
And the petals fall on the orchard wall,
But for me the spring is done.
Beneath the apple blossoms
I go a wintry way,
For love that smiled in April
Is false to me in May.

Ah, so lovely.

Thanks, it wasn’t quite what I wanted but it’s what ended up being. 🙂 Once I survive Monday, Tuesday is usually pretty good. How was the lovely and talented Mia’s day? Good I hope. 🙂

You’re welcome. Tuesday was pretty good, now tomorrow will be the middle of the work week so that’s a great thing! Then it’s all down hill until the famous Saturday! Ha-ha! 🙂 I hope you have a fun evening creating, without too many distractions. *Big Hugs* ❤

Thanks for sharing the lilac picture! I can almost sense the scent in the air. I miss those flowers this time of the year as we don’t have them here ❤
