Bear In There

There’s a Polar Bear
In our Frigidaire–
He likes it ’cause it’s cold in there.
With his seat in the meat
And his face in the fish
And his big hairy paws
In the buttery dish,
He’s nibbling the noodles,
He’s munching the rice,
He’s slurping the soda,
He’s licking the ice.
And he lets out a roar
If you open the door.
And it gives me a scare
To know he’s in there–
That Polary Bear
In our Fridgitydaire.

  8. Sir Maverick!!!? This is a brilliant children’s book! May i have the extreme honor to illustrate it for YOU?! I have had my art published & i am VERY good friends with a man who has had five books published…It should be published & i LOVE painting things for children more than anything else…grownup shit is kinda boring.     • Amy I wish I had written it as I know you would do a great job with the illustration. I do have a friend that is writing a children’s book and if she already has an illustrator she may know other authors. So I’m glad to have your info and I will pass it along. Thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚
