Very nice rose picture with a difficult color for digital. The quote brought back memories of my 18th century restoration drama course in college. Almost seems like that was in the 18th century too.

Thanks David. When I think of 18th century restoration I think of Jonathan Swift, but no doubt English gardens could be applicable as well. 🙂

I love the grace of the close up picture and the way the light and focus are highlighting the red roses in the border. David is right – I find it very tricky to capture a rich, bright red.
