Those flowers are a beautiful shade of purple. I am trying to enjoy the summer color and warmth while it lasts. I can’t believe July is almost over.

  I think we might have had a few sprinkles this month (or maybe that was in June), but it usually does not rain much here during the summer. We do need rain, and I hope we get it this fall and winter.
  
  I know a few people who like hot weather but hate the combination of heat and humidity. It gets hot here, but it is usually not humid.
