I know in many urban areas Canadian Geese are considered a scourge, but I love them. Such characters. When I hear them calling out it reminds me of the lake I grew up on, as a child.

The lack of predators and their adaption to urban settings has led to overpopulation and made them a pest but I agree they can be characters. Whenever I see the geese police I still root for the geese. Growing up on a lake might explain your depth. 🙂

Kind of you to say. I just took some photographs of a lone goose. I may write about him. Seems a deep fellow out there in the marsh. May your Sunday be filled with beauty and joy, my friend.

I don’t know, I guess I’m just immature, but I never get tired of seeing pictures of duck with their butts up in the air. And this was a particularly good picture with nice detail and lighting.
