  1. Maverick!!! How I truly LOVE these butterflies. I haven’t posted mine because I don’t think they came out all that good. But yours? Just wow!! You are using the Canon 6D, aren’t you, or am I thinking of someone else? Your photos are just so good!!! I am pulled with the sharpness and the clarity. xx Amy

    • {{{Amy}}} Thank you. Mine’s a Canon T3i and most of the processing I do in Lightroom 4. Nothing too high end. Bought mine new but you can find good deals on used now.
I think you said you didn’t have an auto focus so it’s impressive how well you do. Your macros are always truly amazing! Like what you did today.

      • I do have autofocus but many macros I do take in manual because I get SO close, my autofocus won’t work right. Your take awesome pics. Hmmmm…..Lightroom 4. Huh. I might just check that out. I found out the hard way yesterday that my Canon does not do well in low light situations indoors. It’s great outdoors. Indoors not so great. Or perhaps it is the photographer who needs to learn more. I don’t like to photograph people. So when you ask a Landscape/Nature Photographer to photograph a baby shower, that is a mistake right there. Thank you for your kind words about my post today, Maverick. Your words mean a lot to me. Love, Amy

      • The 50mm f/1.8A lens is good for portraits and fairly inexpensive if you don’t have one. I got mine to shoot a rock concert because of the low lighting. Like you said, if you’re not used to shooting something it can be difficult and you might not be equipped right. As long as we keep doing we’ll keep learning Amy. *Hugs*

      • I think I had the wrong lens, Maverick. I don’t have the one you are talking about. I will keep in mind what you told me here. I have also read that my camera does not do well in low light settings, but there must be a way around that IF the photographer outsmarts the camera. There was a Divine Justice in this situation anyways, for I truly was not treated well, plus this event showed me with no doubt, I am closing the door permanently on this branch of family. Yes, there are Blessings in All things. Sometimes though, you have to look for them through the tears. (((HUGS))) Amy
