“There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.” – Ansel Adams
A blog post I look forward to weekly is Monochrome Madness. For those that might not know, this is a weekly collection of monochrome photos organized and graciously hosted by Leanne Cole in collaboration with Laura Macky. It’s a great way to see a group of diverse and talented photographers monochrome photos all in one posting. If you haven’t already visited, check out Monochrome Madness – Week 11 here.

Thank you for liking “Taking Time Off to Suffer: My Blogging ‘Vacation.'” I follow Leanne Cole’s blog, and I enjoy her “Monochrome Madness” posts too! 🙂 The photos in these posts are wonderful. I like black-and-white photography in general, and it is nice to see a wide variety of styles and subjects in these posts.

Thanks. Hope your dad’s still doing okay and you received credit for your test. At least you got 50% off cementary space. 🙂

Thank you for your concern. Yes, my dad is still doing okay. My days of doing Kentucky Fried Chicken food runs are coming to an end. However, I will still be taking care of my dad because I have been his primary caregiver since my mother died about nine years ago.
I still have not heard back from my teacher about my test. The only other possibility I can think of is that she made the quiz a credit/no credit test. I do not think those tests get a score. We have until Sunday to take the final quiz, and I am thinking that she does not want anyone to know the test is credit/no credit or students will not study for it. I could be wrong though. 😦
I could not believe that junk mail when I first saw it! It was the first time I saw a half-off sale from a cemetery. Apparently, times are tough even for memorial lawns. I guess I did not see this junk mail as a harbinger of doom right away because it was actually addressed to one of my brothers. However, he moved away after he got married, so I was the one who received it. The memorial lawn did follow up with a “pre-purchase your own cemetery space” mailer directly addressed to me, but it was not as funny as the one I posted. And it did not include the 50% discount. 😉
